About Life of Remedy
Life of Remedy (LOR) is a UK artist, songwriter and storyteller creating music that blends cinematic production, melodic rap and honest lyricism. Every song is built around real emotion and real experiences, exploring themes of resilience, ambition, relationships, mental health and the journey of finding purpose through life's highs and lows.
Rather than chasing trends, Life of Remedy focuses on creating music with meaning. Each release is designed to tell a story, combining powerful melodies, atmospheric production and authentic songwriting to create records that connect on a deeper level. Whether it's an emotional ballad, an energetic anthem or a reflective track, the goal is always the same: to make listeners feel understood and remind them they are never alone in what they're going through.
Outside of music, Life of Remedy is the creative identity of entrepreneur Rob Dawe, founder of Bear Talent, one of the UK's leading TikTok LIVE creator agencies. His experience building communities and helping creators grow has shaped his belief that creativity has the power to change lives—both on and off the stage.

The Story Behind the Name
People often ask me, “Why Life of Remedy?” The answer goes back to where everything started.
Before Life of Remedy, my very first rap name was Exclusive. As I grew as an artist, I wanted a name that truly represented who I was—something personal, something meaningful and something that would stay with me for life.
Hidden within the name are my own initials. The letters R, M and D represent me: R.M.D. The two E's come from my very first artist name, Exclusive—one at the beginning and one at the end—because I wanted to carry a part of where I started into everything that came after.
That left one final letter. Y. People constantly ask me, “Why Life of Remedy?”—so that question became part of the name itself. The Y represents Why.
Because that's exactly what Life of Remedy is: the story of my life. Every song is inspired by real experiences, real emotions and real moments that have shaped me. Some were written during the happiest periods of my life; others came from moments where writing music was the only way I knew how to process what I was feeling.
But Life of Remedy has never only been about me. My hope has always been that my experiences become a remedy for somebody else. If someone hears one of my songs during a difficult time and feels understood… if a lyric gives someone hope… if a song helps somebody through heartbreak, anxiety or loss, or simply reminds them they aren't alone… then the music has done exactly what I created it to do.
That's what Life of Remedy means. It's the story of my life… and hopefully, a remedy for yours.
The Journey So Far
The journey officially began with Hindsight, my first project, available on SoundCloud. Looking back now, I had no idea where music would take me. I was simply creating because I loved it—I had stories to tell, emotions to express and a passion for making music that felt honest.
Since then, every release has represented a different chapter. From Spaceman through to LoR of Attraction (#LORA), each body of work has helped me grow as a songwriter, artist and storyteller. One of the biggest milestones was collaborating with Spyda NSR on our joint EP, Astronauts in the Ocean (#AITO)—a chapter that challenged me creatively, introduced new sounds and showed me the power of collaboration. Most recently, I released LoR of Attraction 2 (#LORA2), continuing the journey with some of my most personal writing to date.
None of this would have been possible without every single person who has streamed a song, watched a music video, shared my music or supported me along the way. Every stream, every comment, every message, every person who has believed in me—you're all part of this journey. Thank you.
More Than Music
I've never wanted to make music simply to release songs. I've always wanted to build something that lasts—something people can genuinely connect with. Stories that make people think. Music that helps people through difficult moments, celebrates life's biggest victories and reminds people they are never alone.
Life of Remedy isn't just about creating music. It's about creating something meaningful: a brand, a community, a legacy. If someone can relate to even one lyric I've written, then every hour I've spent creating has been worth it.
